                                         Phil Taylor
Ottumwa, IA
Phil has been selling antiques for almost 25 years and he is well known within the collecting world of
Arts and Crafts period furniture and decor. Though Iowa natives, Phil's antique business was started
in Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area where he and his wife lived until 1990. They
bought antiques in the Midwest and sold them in the Bay Area for 16 years. Phil acquired some
Stickley and Limbert pieces on one of his many cross country trips in the early 80's. The quality, design
and rarity of the furniture sparked a new interest for him. A few years later, Phil was dealing almost
exclusively in Arts and Crafts furniture, lighting and accessories. The Taylor family moved back to the
Midwest in the early 1990's. They settled in Ottumwa, Iowa and built a large shop from which they
produce reproduction mission oak furniture. The pieces are of excellent design and quality and are
time-tested, faithful reproductions. Phil's finishes compliment most interiors and blend very well with
both antique and new furniture.
